Yesterday Lily and I went out for the day for a mummy date. I asked her what she would like to do on our mummy date and having a browse at a fabric shop was at the top of her list. She also likes having lunch, going to Shearers on Norton St for a book and milkshake, going swimming, washing the car at Car lovers and many more..
The fabric browsing suits me fine especially when we go to The Remnant Warehouse and find out that they have 50% off everything. The sad part was that the Marrickville store will be closing next Wednesday and moving over to Botany Rd where the other store is. If you are in need of some fabric then pop over there before next Wednesday. They still have lots to choose from, although all of their quilting fabric is sold. I managed to pick up some 99% cotton denim, some blue satin for superhero capes for an upcoming birthday and some fat quarters to make some softie dolls.
